Return & Exchange Policy


If your item arrives damaged or broken please follow these steps:

Notify Finishing Touch within 5 days of receipt of the goods via email or phone.
Keep all damaged/broken items as well as packaging materials as they carrier may need to inspect.
Take photos of the damaged item as well as any damage to the shipping box.
Send us an email at ftcentre@syd.eastlink.ca with the photos. Be sure to include your name, phone number, and invoice number.
We will ship out a replacement item as soon as we have the damaged product back and have inspected it. If a replacement is not available, we will issue a refund to you. Please note that shipping and handling fees are non refundable and you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. The address to mail back your item is

At Finishing Touch, we take pride in the quality of each piece we have selected.  We hope you love your purchase for years to come! If you are not completely satisfied with your new purchase, we offer an easy full refund return or exchange policy within 30 days of purchase. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.  

For online returns, Finishing Touch offers a 30 day full refund or exchange on all online purchases made. Receipts must accompany all returns/exchanges. All items considered for refund or exchange must be returned in  "as new" condition, free of visible marks, scratches, defects and properly packaged. All returns/exchanges are subject to inspection and return approval by a Finishing Touch member. All online orders may also be returned instore. If your order was processed via PayPal then a Finishing Touch credit note is the only refund available instore. 

Please note all items that are special orders as well as items on sale are not eligible for return or exchange. Any gift cards purchased are also non refundable. Also, we do not refund any shipping costs.
